Art of Networking/Questionnaire |
| Networking is the art of
precision, evaluation and effectiveness using
your social, relationship and communication skills. This process allows
you to connect with various circles of influence in the private and
public business and community groups, associations, foundations,
chambers of commerce, networking (Lead) groups to inform and educate
prospects about your products/services that can create value and
benefits in their business and personal life. |

| It took me years to
learn how to pre-qualify and determine if it was a
prospect instead of a suspect. In this new, different and very
challenging economy, there is so much competition! Customers are very
ethnic diverse, sophisticated, educated, knowledgeable, investment
conscious, and demand the best product and service solutions. Time is
money, so it’s important to quickly, accurately and
efficiently
identify if you have a potential prospect that could become a long-term
client/customer. This tool, I’ve used for years! |

Tradeshow Networking Value |
| How many times have you
received a letter, email or fax informing you
about an upcoming trade show, business expo, or conference that invites
and urges your company to participate, so you can generate more leads?
The benefits sound great; it’s only for 1-5 days, why not? Do
YOU take the time to carefully
pre-qualify
the event to determine the potential value of leads and sales from
attendees and vendors and then compare the costs of equipment, booth
space, time, and sales force to calculate the return on investment? |

How to select a Coach or Consultant for any Industry? |
Pre-qualifying
Questionnaire
I think it’s
tedious, challenging and time consuming to
research and gather information before purchasing a product/service or
hiring a consultant/coach. If we don’t know much about the
product/service or consultant/coach, quite often we don’t
know
what questions to ask. Recently, I had that experience, as I started
the arduous process to gather information, evaluate and hire a web
designer. Because of my limited knowledge and experience with the
technical side of web designing, I didn’t know what to ask
for. I
found myself hoping and expecting that the web designers I interviewed
would help me ask the right questions to gather the information. Yes, I
asked other business colleagues for their recommendations. I soon
discovered some of the web designers I had interviewed didn’t
have the best skills and knowledge to help me. I became very
disappointed and frustrated after investing many dollars in a web
designer who couldn’t complete the project.
